We adopted Seeb beach

One of the school’s first community projects involved the ‘adoption’ of a popular 200 metre stretch of Seeb beach in an attempt to keep it clean and beautiful.  Ranging from broken pieces of plastic cutlery to car tyres and fishing nets, students collected litter, filling 35 large refuse bags during their first beach clean-up event in December.  This amount was almost equalled just one month later during a follow-up event in January, when the need for regular beach cleaning events became clear.
